About me

Hello! My name is Usha. I am passionate about creating workplaces where people and purpose can thrive. As a consultant, speaker and writer, I’ve dedicated my work to culture transformation, leadership development and shaping the future of work. I believe change happens by making small and different choices and accumulating them over time. I work with organisations to understand the challenges they face and design simple, easy to adopt practices and mindsets that help mobilise the entire workforce in solving those challenges.

I am a certified Executive Coach, PROSCI Change Practitioner, Holacracy Practitioner, Integral Facilitator and hold a master’s degree in Organisation Development.

When I’m not working, there’s a 75% chance you can find me in the oceans of New Zealand swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving. I also enjoy dancing, painting, and spending time with my friends and family.

My work

I’ve led transformation with organisations large and small, globally distributed and locally focused, across corporate, government and non-profit sectors. I’ve coached executive and senior leadership teams within these organisations to adopt new ways of working to drive transformation and innovation. I’ve also worked as a senior leader within organisations and influenced change from the inside. Through all these experiences, it’s clear to me that the most important assets to any organisation are people and purpose.

I work with leaders to support them in translating the organisation’s purpose into a strategy that cascades throughout the organisation. I coach executive leadership teams to come together as an aligned, high-performing team that leads an enterprise and support them to move out of siloed and disjointed leadership.

I coach leaders to step into courageous, authentic leadership as they champion culture change and innovation. Through a combination of adopting new mindsets and ways of working, building leadership capability across the organisation and upgrading organisational processes, policies and systems, organisations can begin to harness the full potential of their people.
